How To: Review Performance for Each Content Piece

This guide shows you where to find your performance reporting in the platform and how to view key metrics for each content piece, helping you quickly see what’s resonating with audiences and where your campaign is driving the most impact.

  1. To find your Campaign Reporting Dashboard go to your Advertiser homepage, select "Active Campaigns".

2. Use the Search here field to find your campaign by name.

3. Once your campaign appears, click the arrow to expand and view the details.

4. To review your campaign results, go to the Overview tab and select "View Reporting Dashboard" in the top right corner. This will take you to your live performance reporting.

5. This section of the Reporting Dashboard shows how each article, video, or placement is performing against your campaign goals.

From here, you can:

  • View your overall campaign performance at a glance

  • Scroll down to see results for each individual content piece and phase

  • Track delivery against campaign and phase guarantees over time

This makes it easy to understand what’s performing well and how each piece contributes to your overall results.

6. This top section gives you a quick snapshot of how your campaign is performing overall, before you dive into individual content results.

What you can see at a glance:

  • Campaign timeline & pacing - shows campaign start/end dates and how far through the campaign you are

  • Campaign guarantees (progress rings) - visual progress against key delivery commitments (e.g. Impressions, Article Views, Video Plays, Clicks To Clients site)

  • Campaign metrics (delivery so far)- totals for impressions, views, video plays, and clicks to site.

  • Engagement snapshot - summary of comments, reactions, shares, and saves

How to use this section:

  • Use this view as a quick health check on your campaign

  • Sense check pacing before reviewing individual content pieces

  • Spot early if anything looks behind and may need optimisation

Hover over the “?” icons throughout the dashboard to see definitions and extra context for each metric.

7. Scroll down the Reporting Dashboard to move past the top level overview. You’ll see your campaign results broken out by phases (for example, Phase 1, Phase 2).

To view more detailed results for a specific phase, click the arrow on the right-hand side of the phase card. This will expand the section and show phase-level performance, so you can easily see how each stage of your campaign is tracking.

8. This will open the phase level performance view, showing delivery against guarantees (such as impressions, article views, video plays, and traffic to site), engagement metrics, and a breakdown of results by content piece and publisher.

Use this view to understand how each phase is progressing and which content placements are contributing most to performance.

9. After you expand a phase, scroll to the bottom of the section to view the content level breakdown.

This shows every publisher and content placement included in that phase (such as individual articles or videos), along with performance metrics for each one. You’ll be able to see how much delivery each piece has contributed, including article views, video plays, and clicks to your site.

This view helps you quickly understand which content pieces are driving results and how performance is tracking across each placement within the phase.

10. In the content table, click the arrow next to any publisher or content item to expand the row.

This will open a detailed view of that specific piece, including all individual performance metrics.

11. This section shows how it’s performing across key metrics, including:

  • Impressions – how many times the content was shown

  • Article Views – how many times the article was opened

  • Video Plays – how many times the video was played (if applicable)

  • Clicks to Client – how many people clicked through to your primary URL

  • Engagement – Social interactions such as comments, reactions, shares, or saves

This view helps you understand not just how each content piece is performing overall, but where the results are coming from and which placements are driving the strongest engagement or traffic.
