Learn how to manage, configure, or manually override your Distribution settings.
1. Navigate to your Workspace
2. Click Campaign Manager
3. Click the Action button to open a campaign
4. Click on the Content tab
5. Click Manage Content on the relevant line
6. Click Production Items & Content Placements
7. Click Edit
8. Click Distribution Setup and fill out all required information for the distribution. The fields may be pre-filled based on any Profile or Product default settings you have configured.
Here, you can configure:
Content Piece Type: Primary or Supplementary
Media Format: E.g., Facebook post, Instagram story, Written Article, etc
Workflows: Which workflow you want to apply to the content - if you haven't asked for any custom workflows, always apply PubSuite Standard
Distribution Status: This is set automatically based on what Status your content is currently at (e.g., Approved, Live, Planning, etc). Configuring it allows you to manually override the current status of a Distribution. This is particularly useful if you need to:
Skip ahead to a later stage in the workflow
Revert a Distribution back to a previous status
Correct a status where the workflow has progressed incorrectly
Have control over campaign progression without needing to complete every step sequentially
9. Scroll down and complete the remaining fields
Distribution Owner: The organisation responsible for managing and overseeing this Distribution (This is a default setting based on who owns the Workspace)
Assigned Content Editor: Editor assigned to own, create or update the relevant Distribution
Planned Live Date (Optional): Scheduled date & time the content is expected to go live
Advertiser Review: Yes, if it requires approval from Advertiser before publishing
Google SEO Indexing (Optional): Always off unless you have specifically requested to have our SEO customisation
Preview URL (Optional): A link to preview the content before it goes live
Web Page URL (Optional): The live URL of the published content
10. Click Creative Assets and add media assets. This step is optional, only use this if you want to manually upload or submit any assets without going through the workflow
11. Click Content Links and add destination link (optional). You can also configure Count Clicks As, if:
Clicks to Client Page: Any records linked to this distribution will have its clicks counted as clicks to the client's landing page and shown in the Campaign's Reporting Dashboard
Do Not Count Clicks: Any records linked to this distribution will have its clicks excluded, and not shown in the Campaign's Reporting Dashboard
12. Click Save Changes
