How To: Create a Cluster or Group Profile

Here’s how to create a Cluster or Group Profile in Avid PubSuite

Follow these step-by-step guide to set up a Cluster or Group Publisher Profile in Avid PubSuite — from accessing the management console to creating a grouped profile with multiple sub-profiles and making it visible in your workspace.


1. Navigate to your PubSuite Management Console https://avidpubsuite.com/console

2. Click on Manage Publisher Profiles.

3. Click "New Publisher Profile".

4. Input the Group or Cluster Profile name on "Publisher Profile Name" field.

5. Click "Create A Group Publisher Profile With Multiple Sub Profiles"

6. Toggle the Profile Status to "ON" to make it visible in your Workspace.

7. Insert logo.

8. Click "Add New Member" to assign a Campaign Manager to the Profile. This refers to the user in charge of managing and maintaining this Profile/ Title.

9. Click "Select"

10. Click "Close"

11. Click "Add New Member" to assign a Commercial Manager. This refers to the user in charge of managing and maintaining the commercial aspect (e.g. pricing or discount) of this Profile/ Title. You can assign the same person assigned as the Campaign Manager.

12. Click "Select"

13. Click "Close"

14. Click "Next"

15. Put context on the following text fields:

  • Brand Introduction

  • Brand Description

  • Editorial Content Pillars

  • Editorial Tone

  • Major Strengths

16. Click "Next"

17. Click here to assign Engaged Audiences

18. Select relevant audiences for the Group/ Cluster Profile.

19. Input any information about your Audience in this section

20. Click dropdown to select Relevant Industries, and make your selection.

21. Click "Next"

22. Click "New Sub-Profile"

23. Click the Sub-Profile Name field and enter the desired name. You can choose from the following naming options:

  • Based on location, for example:

    • [Publisher Name] – Sydney

    • [Publisher Name] – Melbourne

    • [Publisher Name] – New South Wales

  • Based on content titles, category or verticals that aren’t location-specific, such as:

    • [Publisher Name] – Lifestyle

    • [Publisher Name] – Finance

    • [Publisher Name] – Product Highlights

    • [Publisher Name] – Expert Interviews

Feel free to customise the Sub-Profile name to best reflect the profile’s purpose or focus.

24. Select the relevant Profile Country on the drop down.

25. Assign Website details by clicking on Add+

26. Click the "Website URL" field and input URL.

27. Click the "Monthly Website Reach" field and fill it in.

28. Click here.

29. Enter your Performance Benchmark details (Optional)

30. If you have access to our Automated Reporting tool, click the "Automatically Via Connected Google Analytics Account (Reporting Center)" field.

Otherwise, you can select "Manually".

31. Click "Save Changes"

32. Repeat the steps for Facebook, Instagram and other relevant channels (Optional)

33. Repeat this process for the remaining Sub-Profiles or Titles in the Group or Cluster Profile by clicking on the "New Sub-Profile" button. Click "Next" once you're done.

34. Click "Skip & Do Later"

35. Congratulations, you've successfully created a Cluster profile. To view your Sub-Profiles info, you can click the relevant name as shown below.
