Follow these step-by-step guide to set up a syndicated product across multiple sub-profiles in Avid PubSuite, from selecting the right publisher and partner profiles to configuring content format, placement, and product details.
1. Navigate to your PubSuite Management Console https://avidpubsuite.com/console
2. If you have multiple titles, you can select the relevant Publisher Profile on the "My Publisher Profiles" tab, or click "Manage Publisher Profiles" to view the full list.
3. Select the relevant Publisher Profile by clicking ">" on the "Action" column.
4. Select "Actions" option on the top right-hand side for the screen, Click "Manage Products".
5. Click "Create New Product"
6. Enter the product name in the "Product Name" field.
7. Optional: Tick the box if it's a private offer or if it's a product available in bundles only.
Click "Next".
8. Select Primary Content Format and assign the number of Sub-profiles or Titles you'd like the content to be syndicated across, you can choose:
One Sub-Profile (No Syndication)
Multiple Sub-Profiles
9. Select the eligible Sub-Profiles. It will allow you to select multiple Profiles based on the number of you set.
10. Select the appropriate options for your Product, including:
Placement
Content Approach
Execution
Outbound Link
Content Sample link on URL
11. If there are relevant Product Inclusions, tick the box and click "Next" (Optional).
12. If applicable, click "Add Supplementary Content"
13. Add the relevant Supplementary content and its details, including:
Content Format
Publishing time (Optional)
Example URL
14. Click "Next"
15. Enter Product Description on the text field.
16. Set your SLA or ideal production timeline for selected product. If not customised, the Profile Default value will apply.
17. Click "Next" or the "Deliverables" tab
18. Insert the Guaranteed and Expected deliverables (Optional).
Guaranteed: The minimum number of metric you commit to delivering if this product is bought. This is the baseline volume we’re contractually held to. If this is 0, you can leave empty.
Expected: The estimated number of metric you forecast to achieve based on historic performance. This number is not guaranteed but offers a realistic projection of how your product may overdeliver beyond the guarantee. Optional to include.
19. Click "Next"
20. Enter the Product price on the "Base Product Cost" field.
21. Enter the Product media value on "Rate Card Value" field.
22. Click "Save Changes" and you've successfully created a new product!
