This guide assumes you’re already inside an Article Content Review. If you need help accessing content reviews, follow the steps in How to Review Campaign Content.

  1. Once inside the Article Content Review, use the dropdowns to review each section of the article.

Here, you’ll review:

  • Lead Image Media

  • Article Title

  • Primary Outbound Link - Usually the campaign landing page

  • Additional Links

  • Preview URL

  • Article Body Text

2. Click each dropdown to expand and review every section of the article, starting with Lead Image Media (Image).

Best practice will vary by publisher, but generally this should be an engaging, lifestyle-led, non-branded image that feels native to their environment.

If you haven’t shared any approved assets, the publisher will source an image that best resonates with their audience and aligns with the brief.

3. To add feedback, click "Request Revisions", add your comments, then click "Add Feedback".

Use the feedback feature to flag:

  • Audience and brief alignment

  • Tone and authenticity, for example feels staged or off-brand

  • Relevance to the headline or key message

  • Legal or compliance issues

All feedback is captured directly in the platform, replacing comments you’d typically share via email or documents and keeping everything in one central place.

You can also:

  • Select "Apply the same feedback to other content pieces" using this option

  • Mark feedback as Urgent, if required

4. Once all feedback has been added for a section, click "Review Complete".

You’ll need to mark each section as complete before you can finalise and submit the full review.

5. The Primary Outbound Link is the lead landing page for the campaign, often the main campaign or hero landing page.

Additional Links can be used for product pages or other relevant destinations on your website.

The Preview URL isn’t shown at this stage, it will be provided during the final review before your content goes live.

6. In the Article Body Text stage, you have the option to:

  • Use the Public Viewing Link to share the draft with external stakeholders, for example Legal or Compliance, who do not have platform access. They can view the content but cannot suggest edits.

  • Use the Public Recommend Changes Link to allow external stakeholders to view the draft and suggest edits directly. Any comments added here will save directly against the content in the platform.

  • Review the Article Body Copy directly in the platform, working through the publisher’s draft yourself.

7. There are multiple ways to add comments and edits directly within the article text:

  • Highlight text and add a comment to leave feedback (yellow)

  • Add your suggested copy to request an update (green)

  • Remove text to indicate it should be deleted (red)

All feedback added here will be shared directly with the publisher.

You may want to give feedback on:

  • Key messaging and alignment to the brief

  • Product integration and brand presence

  • Tone of voice and overall style

  • Copy edits, clarity or typos

  • Legal or compliance considerations

8. To add a comment, highlight the text you want to give feedback on and select the "Comment" button.

9. When you add a comment, the highlighted text will turn yellow and a comment box will appear.

Type your feedback, then click the green "Comment" button to submit.

10. To suggest new copy, type directly into the text box. Your changes will show in green so publishers can easily see what you've updated.

To recommend removal, delete the text. Any deleted content will appear in red, so the publisher can see what has been removed.

11. You can view previous feedback by clicking “Comment Archive.”

The Comment Archive stores all past comments and feedback, allowing you to review earlier discussions and confirm whether suggested updates have been addressed.

From the archive, you can also revert to a previous version of the content if needed, restoring an earlier approach.

12. Once you’ve finished reviewing that section, click “Review Complete”.

13. When every section has been marked complete, you’ll see five green “Approved” boxes and “All Items Have Been Reviewed” in the bottom left corner. This confirms the full content review is complete.

Select “Complete and Submit Review” to move the content to the next reviewer, either another internal team member or back to the publisher.

Or click “Save & Complete Later” if you’d like to pause and return before submitting.
