Term | Definition | Example |
Partner Profile | A masthead or publishing title. | Vogue, The Australian, Cosmopolitan |
Campaign | A confirmed agreement between an advertiser and a publisher to run one or more products across one or more profiles. | “Wellness Month x Brand X” |
Media Plan | A breakdown of all booked items within a campaign, including products, costs, distributions, and other booking details. | 3x Sponsored Articles, 2x EDMs |
Distribution | A single piece of content delivered to an audience. Each distribution represents one discrete content delivery. In PubSuite, distributions define the where (e.g. Facebook, website) but not the how (e.g. organic vs. paid). | 1x Facebook Newsfeed Post, 1x Website Article, 1x Instagram Carousel, 1x Newsletter Tile |
Product | A media offering that may include one or more distributions. | “Sponsored Article – Standard” includes 1x Website Post, 1x Facebook News Feed, and 1x Instagram Story |
Bundle | A curated set of two or more products sold together as one package. | “Bundle 1” = Homepage Feature + Social Spotlight (5 distributions total) |
Private-Offer Product or Bundle | Identical in structure to standard products or bundles (as defined above) but made available exclusively to a single advertiser or for a limited time. This is designed for when there is a special deal with an Advertiser or a time-sensitive promotion is run, but the Publisher doesn’t want it to appear in the public catalogue. You can also set an expiry date. | “Private Bundle 1” = Homepage Feature + Social Spotlight (5 distributions total) |
Primary Content Distribution | The main content piece that is purchased with (usually) the highest production requirements, such as a written article or video. It holds the most importance to clients and serves as the key deliverable for achieving the campaign's goals. | 1 x Website Post (native article), 1 x Instagram Reel |
Supplementary Content | Supporting content that complements and is purchased with the primary content, such as social posts. These pieces can either drive traffic to the primary content or stand alone to boost engagement and awareness of the campaign message. All traffic drivers are supplementary content, but not all supplementary content has to drive traffic. | 1 x Instagram Newsfeed Post, 1 x Facebook Newsfeed Post |
Amplification | Paid promotion of a Primary Content distribution across external platforms like Meta, Social Display or Native (Taboola, Outbrain, etc). | 1x Facebook Ad 1x Native Ads |
Avid Amplification | Paid promotion of a Primary Content distribution across external platforms like Meta, Social Display or Native (Taboola, Outbrain, etc), managed by Avid via our AmpPlus offering. | 1x Facebook Ad 1x Native Ads |
