How the Response Form Works

The Response Form is dynamic. This means the fields you see may vary based on the brief you have been invited to respond to, as well as the ‘Response Mandatories’ the Advertiser has set.

Because each form reflects the brief it belongs to, your response form may look slightly different from brief to brief. Always read the field labels carefully before filling it in.

What Are Response Mandatories?

Response Mandatories are the required fields set by the Advertiser that must be completed before you can submit your response. Every brief is different; the Advertiser decides which fields in the Response Form are mandatory based on what information they need from the Media Owner to evaluate the campaign.

You won't be able to hit submit until every mandatory field is filled in.

How Do Media Plans Work in The Form?

Every Response Form includes a media plan section, even if the Advertiser hasn’t made it mandatory. This allows you to attach or provide structured placement and pricing detail alongside your response.

You can upload multiple Media Plan options within the same Response Form. Just hit the “+ Add Media Plan” button underneath the field. This can be useful if you’re including multiple versions or stretch options within the same response.

Can I Save and Come Back Later?

You don’t need to complete your response in one sitting. At any point, click Save as Draft to save your progress and return to it later.

  • Click Save as Draft at any point while completing the form

  • Your response will be saved and accessible from the Brief Manager homepage

  • You can return, edit, and continue at any time before submitting, but please ensure you submit it before the due date

  • Drafts are not visible to the Advertiser until you submit

How Do I Submit?

Once you have completed all the required fields, you are ready to submit.

  • Review your completed form before submitting

  • Click Submit to Response to send your response to the Advertiser

  • Once submitted, your response will be visible to the Advertiser for review and consideration

What If My Brief Has Multiple Tiers?

Some Advertisers will brief in multiple investment tiers. This means the Advertiser has briefed different budget levels and is asking Media Owners to respond to each one separately.

If your brief includes tiers:

  • You will see separate tabs or each investment tier on top of the Response Form (for example, Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3)

  • Each tier shares the same Response Mandatories to complete

  • If a brief includes multiple tiers, you can duplicate your Tier 1 answers across all tiers by clicking Apply to All Tiers under each field

  • Complete the relevant fields for each tier you want to respond to before submitting

A tiered response is submitted in the same way as a standard response; click Submit to Response once you have completed the tiers you are responding to.
