A guide to help clients learn how to activate and launch their AmpPlus campaign after booking with Avid.
Everything you need to know post-booking
Thank you for booking a campaign with AmpPlus. Whether you're a returning partner or working with Avid for the first time, this guide outlines what to expect after booking — and what’s needed from you to ensure a smooth and timely launch.
Step 1: Data and Access Requirements
To effectively monitor, optimise, and report on your campaign, we require access to key data sources such as Google Analytics and Meta.
For new clients: If you haven't provided access before (or within the past 6 months), you’ll need to set this up before we can begin campaign build.
For returning clients: If you’ve already provided access within the last 6 months, there’s likely no further action needed.
Please note that access must be granted before any AmpPlus booking can be activated or set live.
For more information, visit the AmpPlus Setup Guide.
Step 2: Internal Avid Review
Once your Campaign Plan (with AmpPlus budget) is marked as “Approved” in PubSuite Campaign Builder, our team is automatically notified to begin activation.
Within 1 business day, the AmpPlus team will review your Campaign Plan.
Where relevant, we may flag any issues (e.g. content suitability, scoring, etc), and/or provide feedback or recommendations.
Step 3: Booking Confirmation and Contract Finalisation
If your booking is approved, your Avid representative will:
Confirm the booking via email
Share your Insertion Order (IO) for signature via DocuSign
Send content and asset requirements, along with submission deadlines
Please allow 2 business days from the time you provide the live content link for the campaign to go live. Timely submission is essential to meet your preferred go-live date.
Once the IO is signed, the delivery team begins campaign setup.
Step 4: Content Requirements
To proceed with activation, we will require the following:
Requirement | Details |
Live Content Link | Required across all formats. We need a minimum of 2 business days once the link is provided to push the campaign live. Any delays in providing a live link may shift the live date. |
[Optional] Images | If not embedded in content, please supply at least 2 options (especially for Apple News, RON Native Ads, Standard Native Ads and Premium In-Feed Native). |
Additional Notes:
Ad Copy: Avid will draft ad copy based on your live content, mirroring your messaging and tone. Publisher approval is not typically required. However, if you'd prefer to review the copy before it goes live, please flag this early — note that any delay in approval on your end may impact the go-live date.
Imagery: If current images underperform, we may request alternates or use stock imagery (you will be notified in either case).
Creative Review: Not standard, but available on request. Additional time may be needed to incorporate this.
Step 5: Launch
Once all assets and access are received, we’ll build and launch your campaign within 2 business days to align with your Media Plan’s go-live date.
Once live, you’ll receive:
A confirmation email
If you're using the PubSuite Automated Reporting tool, a dashboard link to monitor AmpPlus performance in real time
If not, you can track performance via your own internal tools (e.g. Looker Studio)
We’ll also check in mid-campaign and at the end to share performance updates.
Not sure which reporting method applies to you? Just reach out to your Avid contact and we’ll guide you through it.
